This Easter, Emma and her daughter (Jessie 2) spent a fantastic morning watching ‘The Easter Bunny’s Eggs-ellent Adventure’ at The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry! Here’s their highlights:
It is a fun little story of Marty MacDonald and his hen, Henrietta, who are entering a singing competition called the Eggs-Factor(!) to win a trip to the Easter Bunny’s secret chocolate factory, but they need some help!
There is lots of audience participation (but only for those who want to!) and so was perfect for my daughter who loved getting up on her feet and joining in with well known songs like ‘Old MacDonald’ and ‘I am the Music Man’ (she expecially loved doing all the actions!!!).
The suggested age range is 2-7 years and performance lasts for around 40 mins-which was perfect for my little bum shuffler!
There is also an opportunity to meet the star of the show at the end, where children get a goody bag, chocolate treat and unlimited cuddles with The Easter Bunny! If your little ones like ‘Justin’s House’ and similar shows, they will love this-the main character really reminded me of Justin from CBeebies!
Getting there was fairly easy-once we’d manoeuvred our way around the Ring Road in Coventry! There are plenty of sign posts to the NCP car park for The Belgrade and the theatre is right outside. (And for an NCP Car Park it wasn’t too expensive £1.20 for 2hours!).
“It’s definitely well worth a visit if you are looking for the perfect family Easter show!”
