The British Motor Museum is to continue its successful monthly Mini Motorists activity days specially designed for children aged under five. The first of 2018’s events will take place on Monday 15 January, with one every month thereafter, the spring dates are Monday 19 February, 19 March and 16 April.
Parents, carers and their toddlers can drop in to the Museum between 10.30am and 12pm and discover the world’s largest collection of historic British cars through various play activities. The activities vary each month and may include things such as story-telling, crafts, get automotive with Duplo, playtime with toy cars, cars to sit in, dressing up and sing-a-longs. The Museum has a family friendly Café with highchairs and children’s lunch box meals as well as serving excellent coffee, tea and cake. There are baby changing facilities on the Museum level and a lift (or escalator) to the Café, however the Museum is all on one level and buggy friendly. Parking for buggies is also available.
There is no need to book for any of the Mini Motorists sessions, just come along or buy your Museum ticket in advance online and all the activities are included in the entry price. The price for under 5’s is FREE, adults are £14 and concessions £12. There is also the option to Gift Aid or donate your entry fee and get an Annual Pass at no extra cost, which means you can come back for all the sessions.
