Throughout the Warwickshire school holidays, Kids Go FREE to the Royal Shakespeare Company’s award-winning interactive exhibition, The Play’s The Thing!
Explore a treasure trove of weird and wonderful objects from our past productions and discover the backstage secrets of theatre-making. Get up close the stunning costumes and fearsome weaponry created right here in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Get hands-on with our interactive exhibits; step inside the mind of a Director, perform the part of Hamlet on the Royal Shakespeare Theatre stage in front of a virtual audience, and embrace your competitive streak with our quick change challenge.
New for summer 2018 (available during the summer holidays), keep the kids entertained for longer with our exhibition activities. Younger children can become mini Detectives, helping Francis the pig find the stolen props hidden around the exhibition. Older kids and teens can step into the shoes of an Assistant Designer, tasked with the role of coming up with the costume ideas for the RSC next big production.
