Full details below.
WOW! Said the Owl, the acclaimed children’s book by award winning author Tim Hopgood, is brought to life by Little Angel Theatre (Tue 21 – Thu 23 Feb). Follow a curious little owl determined to see the wow-world of colours, from the warm glow of dawn, to the bright stars. With a blend of beautiful story-telling, puppetry and music, this show is set to delight and excite children, ages 2-5.
Curious animals and dazzling puppetry are a common theme also in Pins and Needles’ production of The Bear (Fri 24 – Sun 26 Feb 2017). A heart-warming wintry tale for 3-8 year-olds, with delicious music and dozens of laughs that recounts the story of Tilly and her great big friend, a snowy white bear who visits her one night when she’s fast asleep in her bedroom.
And if you are in for more adventures, do not miss our Family Film, Swallows and Amazons (Sat 18 Feb 2017). Set over an idyllic English summer holiday, the Walker children and their rivals, the Blacketts, enjoy a carefree sailing competition until uncle Jim’s secret identity is revealed and the kids are forced to join forces to protect him.
Finally, for those who want to get involved, our Warwick Arts Centre Youth Theatre leaders have organised Play in a Day (Tue 21 Feb 2017, ages 8-14). Join our Youth Theatre group and explore improvisation, drama games, music and scriptwriting; use your theatre skills and thriving imagination to create a unique, fun piece of theatre that will be performed in the Butterworth Hall.
